Tuesday, March 25, 2014 - As nice as a premiere cru Chassagne can get in the refined style. A bouquet rivaling the finest, with pineapple, quince, honey, refined tropical scents and a nice balance of acidity. On the palate, a lighter, more elegant approach with restraint. At first, the acidity will prevail at a young age without decanting. Then a warmer, full follow through on the scents of the nose( though not as many flavors as that complex scent). If you drink it now, be sure to let it breathe for a half hour and serve at a warmer rather than colder temp.
