Likes this wine:

Tuesday, May 27, 2014 - High Altitude Vineyards (Plus Private Dinner at restaurant García de la Navarra) (Vila Viniteca - Madrid): Obscure colour with violet edges.
Quite floral nose. Notes of pencil savings and crude carob bean.
Too much wood at this point but elegant although lacks that power and complexity of Altamira that I admire the most.
Extremely young on the palate, fresh and very persistent. Fine acidity with some diluted tannins.

Scoring journalists gone completely MAD... And probably paid under the table as well.

Enough banter. But THAT was my feeling from the disappointment of this not so special wine.

5/26/2015 10:04:00 AM - That's the point. Too much money around.
Last weekend I've finished the novel 'The Billonaire Vinegar'
So insparing text, showing what's happening under the carpets. An indispensable reading but the movie is coming.
    Cheers!
