Saturday, March 21, 2015 - I took this to a friends 3/21/15 Malbec tasting. It had deep, layered and just plain gorgeous bouquet of violet, raspberry, anise, herb and spice aromas. The palate was rich and dry with good acidity…flavors of raspberry, licorice, mocha, black tea and minerals. The group’s average score was 92.08 points.

This only received the 2nd most votes for WOTN, but the highest average score. The 2011 Fabre Montmayou Malbec Grand Vin received the most votes, but the 2nd highest average score…so which one won? Maybe both?
