PnP - Clear, bright, medium concentration, no evidence of gas or sediment, garnet, medium viscosity, no faults, moderate nose, smells of red berries and dried basil. Dry, medium-low tannins, medium bodied, medium acidity, tastes of slightly tart red fruits such as raspberries and cooked cranberries and cloves, medium finish, moderate complexity, well balanced.

Garnet to ruby. Medium legs. Aromas of strawberry, dark cherry, black pepper and light toast. Just a bit tart, with flavors of strawberry and dark cherry. Silky texture, medium finish, medium acid. Overall, a nice, varietally correct Pinot Noir. At $17 with tax, compares favorably to the King Estate label Pinot Noir; good QPR. Will seek out future vintages. Drink now, or hold for another year.

Very clean, elegant, tart, and pure. Had with red snapper and mixed veggies @ Founding Farmers Tyson in VA. Not much on the nose outside of some rhubarb and roses, but the palate brought ripe cherries, raspberries, a cinnamon rhubarb pie into the sharp finish. Nice value for the money. Drink now - 2025.

Pure garnet color. Friendly crushed red currant and spice box aromas come out to greet me. Nice pinosity. There is a pleasing core of up front and mid-palate red currants and cherry juice. The finish takes off with an impressive inner mouth bloom of flora. A tad of tart on the tail. Clearly Oregon. This is outstanding due to the sheer purity of the fruit. Very good wine at any price and a great QPR at $17.

Purply and liquidy. Reminiscent of Smuckers grape jelly with hints of dark flavors. Not too much alcohol. Balanced but nothing to write home about. Inoffensive though. Would be a good bottle for the oenophile host to open after everyone has had "enough of the good stuff" and needs to be cut off. Buh-bye.

Much better than the last bottle. This was a lot more focused and food friendly with typical pinot flavors, although not much depth. All in all very enjoyable with the a meal of chicken with a hazelnut sauce.

35-40% opaque, nice dark cherry color, fairly quick forming legs.
On the nose: Lots of raspberries, plums, persimmons, dark chocolate, and white pepper.
The wine: light tannins, silky mouth-feel, terriffic balance with a slight warmth as it hits your belly. The overall wine has a medium finish, and changes directions for a fantastic middle and finish.
Flava: Plums and dark cherries up front, which changes drastically on the mid-palate (I love how the wine takes a complete turn here) and goes to a rich buttery-slightly earthy finish.
WOW! 91 all day long. Glad I decided to revisit this vino a couple of months after I began my wine drinking endeavors.

Solid smooth drinking wine. Not a lot on the nose. Not very complex, but I felt as if it were balanced throughout. Very smooth with a light buttery finish. Delicate vino I could drink regularly, but nothing really special or vibrant about the wine. Just a solid good drinking wine.

This was fine for Thanksgiving dinner. Strawberry-dominated red fruit was present, but not much else. Acrobat is definitely below some of the main label offerings of this producer, but there is OK value here and the wine is food-friendly.

From western Oregon, unofficially, per the back label. The nose is unimpressive and empty, with unripe fruit. The taste is pleasant, but not particularly so. Overpriced, poor qpr. Mediocre to poor aftertaste. $19.

I find this to be a rich but 1-dimensional wine. A "fruit bomb" for a pinot. Lacks complexity & balance; however it's hedonistic and enjoyable if one is looking for nothing more. Aroma muted on both 1st & 2nd day. Reasonable for it's lower price point. [drank from Riedel Veritas Pinot glass]

Giant Wine Sale & Tasting 10/4/2014 Cellar on Greene, Columbia, SC. (Cellar on Greene, Columbia, SC): This is one of those Pinot's that keeps seductively enticing you to take another sip. It really is kind of simple in a "New World" fruit forward way that is simply delicious. Not, expensive, and not trying to be anything more than an every day drinker. If you can believe it, the nose smells like grapes, with a little vanilla, that also appears across the palate. The fruit is mostly ripe dark cherry. Nice soft acidity keeps things balanced and smooth.

OK, so I may have been a bit too over exuberant on my first tasting / bottle of this wine. It's definitely a solid, very enjoyable wine. And on a point vs cost basis, it's a great deal, especially if you can find it for $14 or so. This bottle certainly tasted more new world than I had originally noted. But it had very good depth on nose and palate. Lots of dark red fruits, bordering on black fruits, but not quite. Dark cherry, blackberry, maybe even a little blueberry. Moderately long palate, but a bit hot on the finish. A little bit unbalanced. Overall still liking this wine as a much better than average house pinot noir. Pleasant and cheap enough for "the masses" but also deep, rich and complex enough for the more serious taster.

Maybe this was a bad bottle, but didn't taste anything that made me want to try this again. Acrid finish. Even pretending it wasn't a pinot didn't help. Not a good buy at $8, much less $14

Spicy violet and forest floor grown wild strawberry scents. Similar flavors, quite dark fruited for a pinot with plenty of foliage and sweet spice too. A bit thin and medium length but really nice and typical flavors that improve with air. Decent value.

We've opened two bottles of this. The first was fairly rich and fruity, with slightly sweet cherry flavor dominating the palate. The second bottle was much more austere - very dry with lots of acid. There seems to be quite a bit of bottle variation.

Good value. No formal notes - but good fruit flavors and a strong backbone - more pronounced than most Pinots, probably because it is so young. Second bottle in the evening - better than the first one that cost twice as much.

Given the good vintage and decent review from WS (90), thought would be a possibility for a daily drinker.
Flavors of blueberry, sour cherry and vanilla. A little on the simple and sour side for my taste (especially for a pinot). Won't bother to buy any more of this.
