Apple and pear throughout that simultaneously seemed lean and sweet, but that’s what is so great about this vintage. Some spice, lots and lots of bright energy. Certainly better now vs when last tasted 5 years ago.

Pristine. Delicate nose of citrus rind and chalk accented by sweet oak. Palate is a pure, clear window of citrusy, glycerine acidity onto a streak of fine slate, around all of which there's a thin layer of chalk. Wonderful pulse, reverberation. Lively, exquisite.

Apple, stone, and with a persistent richness and most savory of all the tasting with the slightest reduction yet still rather light. The most pliant in terms of acid/structure. Also the most monolithic, yet the nobleness reminded me of the Michael Faraday Chard.

Hubert Lamy 2013's-White and Red (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Another new lieu dit for me. Pale color. Floral nose. Much more delicate and airy than any of the previous wines. Dry, lovely orange, pliant acidity, good length. Very discrete and classy for village level wine.

Wines at Smaller Meals and Between Meals; 6/24/2018-7/5/2018 (Cote d'Or): Apples everywhere with sweet spice, mint and floral notes. Wonderful balance and harmony with good length. Soft and so easy to enjoy. A great Villages level wine for almost any Chardonnay-enjoying palate.

Good burgundy . Missing complexity and structure. Not the big fun . And therefore too expansive !!!

It was fresh and delicate with aromas and flavours of white peach and lemon. There was some citrus blossom and a finish that had saline minerality.

Nose of white flowers, yellow apple, lacking a bit of tension… very very light taste, hint of calcaire, a bit too light to my taste
