I love both Sancerre and NZ Sauvignon Blancs. I had no idea what this was. I used a 2BC SB that was better than this and obviously a lot cheaper. Just like one other reviewer, I had a glass of this (with great anticipation, I might add), and used the rest for cooking. Not for a reduction, however. What was Phelps thinking?!? Tasted like an SB in Chardonnay clothing.

light and crisp. This wine is brisk with acidity, has flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, a touch of herbal notes, and a light crisp finish. Not a bad effort on the whole.

More evidence that Phelps should stick with Insignia and stop making the rest of this crap. This is one of the worst white wines I've had in a very long time.

Not a bad effort but not as crisp and clean as I'd hope for SB. The oakiness makes it more like California chardonnay. Nice fruit, good smells, finish is muddled. It even smells a little like (California) chardonnay, unfortunately.

Interesting wine.....not aging that well, but still good right now. A bit green.

Not as fruity as most Sav. Blancs.
