VINEYARDS
From grapes grown in the best-known wine-growing regions of Chianti.
VINIFICATION AND AGEING
The grapes were harvested in October.
Alcoholic fermentation, usually aided by racking and punching down, continues for about 2 weeks at an average temperature of 26/28°C in temperature-controlled stainless-steel or concrete vats.
Alcohol content: 12,5% vol.
SENSORY PROPERTIES
Colour: Ruby red
Aroma: As always this Chianti features a deliciously vinous bouquet, where the floral and fruity notes lead towards a finish of slightly spicy scents of white pepper and hazelnuts.
Tasting profile: Medium-bodied, Chianti Ruffino is pleasantly fruity, harmonious and persistent.
A young Sangiovese which can be perfectly matched with a wide variety of traditional Italian dishes.
