By I Balzini
Red Label Dai Colli della Toscana Centrale
The wines produced by I Balzini are the fruit of carefully selected vines and clones best suited to the farm’s vineyards. They also express Antonella and Vincenzo D'Isanto’s intent to never produce banal wines following the latest fad. Each of them are all born about a decade from each other, is the strongly desired result of a profound reflection intended to give the consumers a unique, unrepeatable product expressing the different ways of experiencing and interpreting the Tuscan countryside.

Technical Details
Grapes: Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon
Soil: Pliocene origin, sedimentary structure alternated by yellow sand and clay. Considerable presence of sea fossils.
Microclimate: Temperature - Warm: From middle to intense rain precipitation, cold winter whereas summers are slightly warm or warm with sunsets particularly sunny due to a specific exposure to west.
Exposure: South - West with vine rows facing North-South
Growing Technique: Cordone speronato with a very careful pruning of the vines. Manual harvest using small boxes to avoid damages to the grapes during the transport from the vineyard to the cellar. Final grape selection in the cellar using a special belt conveyor.
