At 1800 feet on a bench high above Boonville in the middle of Anderson Valley lies the Demuth vineyard property. Made from the Pommard and terraced Wadenswill 2A blocks, this vineyard yielded less than 1.5 tons per acre in 2007. Potent black cherry and dried flowers prevail in the nose. The mouth is driven by sophisticated, complex flavors of black tea, Asian spice, raspberry and lavender.
