Producer websiteLAS PERDICESThe winery is a family operation created by Juan Muñoz López, his wife Rosario, his sons Nicolas and Carlos, and his daughter Estela. In 1952 Juan Muñoz López decided to leave his hometown Andalucia, in southern Spain, and he and his family emigrated to Mendoza, Argentina seeking new horizons. They have vineyards in Agrelo (Luján de Cuyo) and Barrancas (Maipú) in Mendoza.
Viña las Perdices is located in the foothills of the Andes Range at 1.030 m. (3.380 ft.) above sea level, in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo; the first Argentine DOC zone.
