Vinos Ambiz, S.L. is the commercial trading name of winemaker Fabio Bartolomei.
Based in the village of El Tiemblo (Avila province, Spain) in the Sierra de Gredos mountain range. Limited production of about 5000 bottles/year.
Works with the following local varieties:
- Airén. Crisp full-bodied young whites, sometimes 'petillant' sometimes not,
- Malvar. Used to make 'orange', skin-contact white wines.
- Chelva. Young whites, 2013 will be the first year of production
- Garnacha/Grenache.
- Tempranillo
Organic viticulture, minimum intervention in the winery.
