HOW THE WINE IS MADE
Production per vine: 1.05 kg
Selected vineyards which have been established for more than 30 years in the Fontvallestana and El Mas districts in Gandesa, and the Massalocans estates in Batea.
Varieties: 45 % Cabernet, 30 % Garnacha, 15 % Syrah and 10% Merlot.
Soil: Chalky and silty, low permeability. Low organic matter content.
Vinification: Manually harvested and packed in 20 kg boxes. Maceration and fermentation at a controlled temperature of below 28 °C in stainless steel tanks for 26 days.

CRIANZA
The wine spends 14 months in oak casks made french oak. In then matures in the bottle for 24 months.

PRODUCTION
5.000 bottles.

TASTING NOTES
Red wine with intense red colour, tones of violet and many layers. In the nose it presents a complex aroma of red fruits (raspberries, blueberries...) plums, raisins, cocoa and toasted coffe notes.
Soft entry on the palate, sweet and fat with well-rounded evolution, tannin has sweetness intensified by the alcohol. The finish is reminiscent of cherry jam. Long aftertaste.
Unfiltered wine. Given its concentration it may produce precipitates.
Decanter before serving.
