Albariño is best suited to cool growing conditions like we experience in the upper reaches of the King Valley. Made in our Kindergarten, our Albariño is a delicious aromatic style with bright citrus and spicy pear aromas, complemented by stone fruits and a crisp, dry palate.

Pronounced al-ba-rin-yo, it’ s a great match with tapas and seafood.

Vineyard Region: Banksdale vineyard in King Valley
Wine Analysis: Alc/Vol: 13.5%
Colour: In the glass, this wine has a light gold colour, with the slightest tinge of green revealing its youth.
Aroma: It has refreshingly lifted aromas of citrus, nectarine and almond kernel.
Palate: On the palate the wine shows a racy acid that provides a crisp taste and length along with mineral flinty notes and a deep stone fruit flavour.
Peak Drinking: Perfect to drink now. Until 2025.

Growing Conditions: The Albariño grapes used to make this wine were grown at our Banksdale vineyard at 485m above sea level in the upper King Valley. The grapes were harvested in late February 2021 at a Baume level of 13.

Winemaking notes: The wine was mainly fermented in tank with 14% fermenting and spending four month in older french oak for added complexity. This wine was completed with an alcohol content of 13.5%.
