Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the Barossa produces beautifully structured wines with hints of violet and mint, and having superb cassis blackcurrant on the palate. They are noted for their longevity and give a handsome reward to those who choose to cellar these wines.

2004 has proven to be an outstanding red wine vintage and this Cabernet is a great example of Barossa regional varietal definition.

The winemakers have chosen the screw cap closure to ensure the long term quality of the wine.

* Colour: Deep black centre with a dark red rim.
* Bouquet: Soft aromas of violets, black currants and chocolate notes.
* Palate: A softly textured Cabernet with good fruit flavours beautifully balanced by the fine-grained tannins and the subtle undertones of fully integrated oak. It is a seamless wine and a delight to sip.
* Wood: 12 months maturation in French and American hogsheads.
* The Vineyards: Barossa Valley
* Cellaring: Drinking splendidly now, it can be cellared for a further 5 plus years.
* Alc/Vol: 14.0%
* Enjoy with: This Cabernet is a wonderful accompaniment to richer red meat dishes and is particularly good with duck.
