Winemaker Notes
Consistently excellent from vintage to vintage, our flagship
wine is the defining standard by which all of our Pinot Noirs
are measured. A true illustration of the art of blending, the
Evenstad Reserve Pinot Noir is a wonderfully complex wine
that delivers intriguing notes of black cherry, blackberry pie,
dried fig, dried herbs and cocoa. In the mouth, the wine delivers
wonderful depth and concentration, rich and silky tannins and
great persistence.

Vintage Notes
Good things come to those who wait! The 2010 growing season
was one of the longest on record, with early bud break followed
by late bloom. Cool weather, combined with longer hang-time
provided slow, even development, free from heat spikes, giving us
wines of elegance and finesse. Through clonal diversity, exacting
vineyard management, and meticulous wine-making techniques,
the 2010’s have achieved wonderful flavor development,
age-worthy acid structure and are beautifully balanced and
integrated.
