Wine: "This wine is produced in the zone overlooking the southeast coast of Garda lake, between Bardolino and Peschiera; it is obtained by leaving the most in contact with the skin for a short time. 65% Corvina, 25% Rondinella, 10% Molinara
Description: "Lovely aromas of fruit gelato, cherry, red apple, candy apple and a touch of watermelon. Juicy, bright and very approachable with a tangy and refreshing acidity. More watermelon fruit emerges on the finish. A good match for summer salads, or crab cakes." - (VINTAGES panel, March 2014)
Nose: strong personality offering notes of raspberry and black currant with grassy undertones that are mirrored harmoniously on the palate.
Palate: delicate and balanced; acidic with a strong almond aftertaste." - Winery
Winemakers Tasting Notes: "To obtain a colored pink wine the grapes are put in the fermentation tank after having been crushed. The juice quickly enriches itself in alcohol with the temperature going up. At the contact of the solid element the color quickly diffuses. The winemaker chooses the intensity of the color and when he is satisfied the wine is evacuated in another tank to finish fermenting."
