Winemaker's Comments:
The head-pruned old vines of the Dusi Vineyard have come to define the intense bramble-berry flavors of Paso Zin. Planted in the calcareous soils of the West Side, these dry-farmed vines produce small quantities of fruit with dense concentration and wild spice. On the nose, this wine shows bright bramble fruit, ripe raspberry. The palate is complex, brambly, wild berry and black berry fruit. Spice and spice that slips into a smooth vanilla oak finish. The wine was aged in small French and American Oak barrels for 14 months.
