Laurent: "As I was in search of Marsannay for the Bourgogne N°1 Cuvée, I rediscovered one of the first Bourgogne that ever marked my memory of young apprentice Négociant. It was a marvellous 78. Although the Appellation « 1er cru » is still, here, but a prospect, I acknowledge the Wine this dignity, without changing the price, yes, you read me well !!! This Clos du Roy is sumptuous, as often the Northern Wines in a Great Year. The colour is opaque, but no harsh tannin can be detected. Nothing but dark fruit and peony flower on taffeta. If you miss such a bargain, it will really not be my fault !
