The quality of generic red burgundy is extremely high in 2015, and Leroy's Bourgogne Rouge feels anything BUT generic. It's bright and lively, with a vibrant style and a core of sweet, delicious raspberry tartness and a touch of black fruit for added density. Silky tannins with just a hint of earthy beetroot savouriness mark this out as a serious wine, capable of ageing for 5-10 years, but only the most determined will be able to wait that long... give it 18 months and it will blow away most villages wines from other vintages!
