Named for Bannockburn founder Stuart Reginald Hooper,

The fruit is sourced from twelve rows of the oldest Bannockburn Chardonnay vines in the Olive Tree vineyard.

This special site produces exceptional fruit with characteristic Bannockburn "oyster-shell" notes. The S.R.H is wild yeast fermented in one-third new French barriques (Tronçais) and left on gross lees, in puncheon and tank, for up to three years.
