Time will dictate where this vintage of Pinot noir sits in relation to other great vintages, however we cannot remember a vintage that excited us more on release.
The aroma of this wine constantly evolves in the glass. Initially there are hints of plums, quince and raspberries. These primary fruit aspects are balanced beautifully by spice, dried roses and truffle, adding layers of complexity and interest.
The flavour intensity on the palate is backed by fine grain tannin, giving this wine some savoury complexities. This tannin is also contributing to the drive and length of the wine through the palate, adding length to the finish.
