The first release of this wine will be the only pure vintage wine that will likely be made from this vineyard. Anselme Selosse started plans to bottle this wine separately in 2003 with his ultimate goal to be a solera wine blended from multiple vintages. It would be released each year with the latest vintage added to the blend each year. As the Solera began with 2003 and this was also the starting point for this cuvee, the first release of this wine is 100% 2003. The bottle does not sport a vintage date as all future releases will be blends of different vintages. This makes this wine an interesting one-off - a pure vintage Solera Champagne.
