Winemaker Notes:
Txomin Etxaniz Blanco is a white Txacolí from Getariako-Txakolina produced by the Txomin Etxaniz winery. This winery is located in Getaria (Guipúzcoa), which has produced Txacolí wines from 1989, a type of white wine made from native varieties, Hondarribi Beltza and Hondarribi Zuri. The grapes come from vineyards on sloping trellises. For the preparation of Txomin Etxaniz Blanco, a late harvest occurs in 20 kg boxes in late September. Once in the winery, the must ferments at a controlled temperature and stays on its lees until bottling.
Tasting Notes:
Straw yellow with bright hues. Clean and expressive. Aromas of ripe white fruit with mineral notes and some salt. Nice and fresh input. Well-structured and with good acidity. Notes of light carbon, with a long citrus finish.
