"The varietal composition stands at 68% cabernet sauvignon, 18% merlot, 11% petit verdot, and 3% cabernet franc. There are a number of excellent cabernet lots to consider adding at the second assemblage which will take place in early May. This first assemblage is outstanding, showing wonderful complexity, dark fruit, and rich tannins. Any additions at the second assemblage will only improve the quality further.”
