The Wine Society: This is the second vintage under the new name (previously known as Lalande-Borie) and the wine continues to impress. Made mainly merlot (78%) it is a plump and appealing expression of Saint-Julien with creamy new oak character on the nose and plenty of underlying ripe tannin. Will develop well in bottle. Drink from 2025 to 2038. 13.7%
