Sunset Wine Club: Cherry and raspberry aromas pop from this juicy, fruit-driven Pinot Soir from San Luis Obispo county. Grenache-like strawberry and foresty pepper spice coat ripe tannins, finishing with an orange zest pucker. Toasty aromas hint at lees contact and just a little barrel aging, but this is a made-to-drink-now-or-soon (through 2011) Pinot.
