Ratings show a fairly wide variation in on this wine, perhaps because of bottle variation, or because a bit of cellar time really does make a dramatic difference on our wines, allowing time for the tannins to fully integrated. Our v2006 recieved a Double Gold at the 2010 San Francisco Chronicle International Wine Competition, which means all of the Cabernet judges have to give it a gold. And Josh Raynolds liked this wine better than the v2005, rating it 90 pts. On the other hand, Steve Heimhoff, who loved our v2005 at 92 points gave this one only 86 points (which I thought a bit harsh; this is good wine). We are fully allocated on our v2006, and will soon release our v2007. Thanks for your interest. Jon Joseph
