Frank Teldeschi was one of the "old timers" of the California wine industry. He began farming the family's Dry Creek Valley vineyards in 1946. In 1985, Frank;s son Dan began hand selecting grapes from the family old vine, Estate grown vineyards to produce wines of intense extractio, rich flavors and remarkable ageability.
