Winemaker's Notes: Dark berry, pomegranate and earthy aromas are complemented by concentrated black cherry and black raspberry flavors. Hints of orange peel on the nose add complexity to this wonderfully rich Pinot Noir. The palate is broad and focused with its supple mid-palate texture and superb tea and slate-like finish. MacLean's Block Pinot Noir is wine that could be enjoyed today or would be an excellent candidate for long term cellaring.
