Opened one of my last remaining bottles this evening, and it's still drinking beautifully. Sure, it's not a crisp, fresh, punch you in the front-of-the mouth powerful bowl of summer fruit type of rose at this sort of maturity. But it had a great fruit/ acidity balance and some real complexity on the nose and palate. Appropriately for its age, the summer fruit was leaning towards the autumn - hints of apple, cherry and melon. I wonder how many other producers could create a rose that matures - and quite literally seasons - so well as this. Stunning.

Superb, raisins and wood. Lots of flavour still left. Wonderful brown colour.
