Tasted by LesChetillons on 4/6/2024 & rated 88 points: Nice (999 views)
Tasted by ccn on 3/29/2024 & rated 92 points: Extremely saline! (1100 views)
Tasted by wineton.mee on 3/17/2024 & rated 93 points: A beautiful Chablis, very classic with amped up intensity and so much oyster shell. This has developed nicely since I last popped one almost 2 years ago. Crystalline lemon fruit, small touch of honey, framed by a shell fish nose, so much oyster and all kinds of chalky seafood goodness. Entering drinking window and will hold for many years to come no doubt. (1384 views)
Tasted by Michael Hung on 3/10/2024 & rated 92 points: Riper on the nose and palate than I would have expected. Very unexpected buttery popcorn on the palate which threw me off for a loop initially. Ripe stonefruit and pears, quince, butter and oak spices. The ripeness really stood out to me here as I was expecting more Chablis like characteristics (minerality). (1452 views)
Tasted by fourdan on 2/26/2024 & rated 88 points: So nothing special, bought this bottle at the Dome in Montparnasse Paris, 140 eur, extremely disappointed, nothing interesting about this wine, flat, no nose, no flavor, how can this be? (1765 views)
Tasted by PC73 on 2/3/2024: Found this very odd. Real tutti fruity flavour profile that I’ve never had with this wine before. Prior bottles have been superb. Strange (1517 views)
Tasted by OFS on 12/27/2023: Tydelig utvikling fra første til siste glass. Starter ganske stram, sitrus, grønne/syrlige epler.

(1641 views)
Tasted by vinkeger on 12/23/2023 & rated 93 points: Virker å ha kommet litt langt ved åpning, merker litt nedfallsfrukt på nesen.

Strålende i munn.

(2027 views)
Tasted by PC73 on 12/22/2023 & rated 94 points: A fantastic bottle and great to get an early insight into this great wine from Dauvissat.
Lovely balance from the start
Bags of complexity.
Seeetness of fruit that makes the palate sing.
Acidity backbone that gives structure and complexity. Added nuance and fascination with time in the glass. But not particularly tight on open.
Wow. (1433 views)
Tasted by Satoshi Nakamoto on 11/9/2023 & rated 91 points: Lots of tropical fruits and medium acid. Expected more from the vintage. Tasty, but not at this price it’s commanding these days. (1753 views)
Tasted by glou.sf on 11/2/2023 & rated 93 points: Quite nice nose with minerals, lemon, dairy, green apple, and flint. Nice acidity but quite rich on the palate with more lemon, apple, and mineral notes. Finish is relatively long. Lovely wine that is still young and kept evolving in the glass. This will only get better and needs time... 93+ (2188 views)
Tasted by dnnk88 on 9/30/2023 & rated 95 points: Give this some air (an hour or so) and see the magic. Quite fantastic. 2017 Dauvissats are really something. 95/96 (1974 views)
Tasted by FrederikMøller3105 on 8/25/2023 & rated 94 points: In it’s drinking window! Oyster-foam, oxy-lemon, quice, yellow apples and a lovely accidity!
Medium body.
Best Chablis i’ve ever had.
Decanted throughout the evening, and simply got better (1714 views)
Tasted by LucasTijn on 7/31/2023 & rated 93 points: I usually prefer the Chablis from Raveneau, as I seem to have terrible luck with Dauvissat, so I was very happy when this bottle showed so well. Initially a little closed and needed some 30 minutes to wake up properly. A little bit of matchstick, loads of oyster, sea breeze and stone followed by lemon peel, lime, white grape and crisp green apple. Linear, precise and acid driven, lean and really well balanced. (2173 views)
Tasted by bjbu on 6/16/2023 & rated 91 points: Burgundy trip 2023; 6/14/2023-6/18/2023: Intensity medium. Floral notes, (candied) lemon, green apple, cream, mineral/rock. Acidity high. Finish medium(+). The wine seems not to fully fulfill its potential -which should be able to lift the score with 1 or 2 points. The palate is slightly out of balance and opens with apparent reluctance.

Tasted by ThijsV on 6/15/2023 & rated 91 points: Annual wine trip; Bourgogne & Champage with Bas; 6/14/2023-6/18/2023 (France): [Restaurant purchase] At Hotellerie Les Clos in Chablis, by the glass. Intensity medium. Slightly disappointed with the showing of this bottle (2255 views)
Tasted by CleverCorkage on 6/12/2023 & rated 97 points: Love on first sip. Very pronounced flavor intensity of lemon citrus oil, crushed rocks, matchstick, and a slight phenolic grip. High mouthwatering fresh acidiity and really long persistent finish. Overall a ridiculously good bottle of 1er Cru Chablis. Drank in Reims. (2199 views)
Tasted by fredb on 5/25/2023: Medium yellow color. Citrus and apple aromas with a bit of a floral element lurking. Palate is rounding out but still has a strong streak of lemon citrus and mineral, followed by apple and honeysuckle. The finish is medium-long with mineral impressions that recede to leave more apple notes. Drinking well enough now and probably inclined to drink sooner than later given premox risk profile of this one. (2010 views)
Tasted by Brian of Mull on 5/14/2023 & rated 94 points: Color is light straw. On the nose: Citrus (lemon and orange), minerals and lots of white florals. On the palate: Tart lemon and orange, green apple, loads of minerality (like licking steel), good acidity and very very dry. Really good effort here. Perfect on a hot spring day. (2038 views)
 Tasted by levicn on 5/7/2023 & rated 93 points: (1874 views)
Tasted by FransS on 3/24/2023 & rated 95 points: Dry as you want it, very concentrated and a flowery bouquet. lovely, ripe citrus very pure, nutty, excellent bitters and with a long, very long aftertaste. (1969 views)
Tasted by jviz on 3/12/2023 & rated 95 points: Rather reduced bottle, this was beautiful. I liked it more as it warmed and with increased exposure to air in the glass. Notes of sliced pear, lemon curd, matchstick and raw almond, this had great weight and concentration. Alas it was far too young! (2214 views)
Tasted by AJ72 on 12/19/2022 & rated 95 points: Absolutely brilliant! Textbook Chablis. Fantastic wine wished it was a magnum, very pure and detailed, this bottle was very fresh and drinking beautifully. Pity it's so expensive now.... (2590 views)
Tasted by Palisades57 on 11/25/2022 & rated 91 points: Needs a decant. Tight on day 1 and much better day 2 under argon. (2177 views)

Burgundy

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)

Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

Burgundy Report | Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne - na stejné téma od Heleny Baker

# 2013 Vintage Notes:
* "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons
* "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson
* "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson

# 2014 Vintage Notes:
"We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates

# 2015 Vintage Notes:
"Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson

# 2017 Vintage Notes:
"Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson

# 2018 Vintage Notes:
"The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio

Chablis

Chablis (Fédération de Défense de l'Appellation Chablis) | Chablis (Burgundy Wines)

2014 Vintage Notes:
"... a hybrid of 2004/2007 and 2010. The stone, citrus and limestone amalgam is exactly what we search for in Chablis as the style harkens to a day in the Cote de Beaune proper (1960's - 1980's) when wine was not meant to be consumed the week it was released, battonage was not used by all and new oak was rarely seen ... the texture is natural and 'of the vintage' not 'of the winemaker' .... Like Sancerre or the Loire in general, 2014 in Chablis is one of those rare years with extract and transparency. It appears to be a vintage for the "neoclassic" ages and those of us intent on cellaring the most terroir-driven (but still powerful) examples of vineyard, site-place and varietal will want to invest (heavily) in the magnetic and electric 2014's." - Jon Rimmerman

2018 Vintage Notes:
"There’s not that razor sharp Chablis acidity in 2018,” says Patrick Piuze. “But there is good definition of place. The dry conditions drove vines to drink deeper down in the soil profile."
