Community Tasting Notes (average 90.6 pts. and median of 92 pts. in 11 notes) - hiding notes with no text

Tasted by PPM on 8/13/2014 & rated 93 points: - Yellow gold color. (1256 views)
Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 7/9/2012: When I first opened this it was a bit flat and had gone over the hill. And then as the hours went on it came up a bit. Now, two days on: its got the creme brulee of (oak aged?) old Pinot Grigio. (1953 views)
Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 11/27/2010: Rich and textured, very good but didn't pair well with the mussles. Maybe just a cocktail on its own at this point? Or a very rich cream sauce pizza? With wilted arugala and carmalized red onions? (2466 views)
Tasted by herberto on 11/20/2010 & rated 86 points: Not a huge fan of pinot grigio generally. Most are sweet, simple and thin. This has more character. But mostly it is modern-styled ripeness and oak. Nothing to get too excited about. (2538 views)
Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 4/13/2010: I thought this was just coming into its own with that wild, friulian aged white thing. I thought it was really awsome, others disagreed. They were wrong. Still really good two days later after sitting out on the counter being exposed to oxygen. In fact, better. (2514 views)
Tasted by kenthargis on 3/1/2009 & rated 87 points: P liked much better than K, Lush PGrigio with notes of coconut. P would get again. (1796 views)
Tasted by herberto on 10/5/2008 & rated 93 points: Rich, viscous and complex. (1490 views)
Tasted by paha on 9/25/2008 & rated 92 points: One of the best Pinot Grigios I have ever had. Yummy! (1535 views)
Tasted by herberto on 1/11/2008 & rated 89 points: Nice dark fruit but a little thin. (1392 views)
Tasted by herberto on 8/26/2007 & rated 93 points: Delicious. Complex apricot and apple fruit. Much more depth than I expect from a pinot grigio. (1731 views)
Tasted by herberto on 7/29/2007 & rated 92 points: Delicious. Deep yellow fruit. (1519 views)
