rich and vibrant. wonderfully expressive. dare say more enjoyable than Les Clos side by side.

somewhat muted compared to Blanchot. got better after half an hour in glass but I expected more.

mellow and elegant with notes of old humidor and leather. very pleasant old claret.
surprises me every time. beautiful nose with a sweet plummy finish.
tight and closed. perhaps not a good bottle. somewhat disappointing.
alluring and complex. at its drinking plateau now.
deep and dark with notes of mineral, earth and plum. not as explosive on the nose as one would expect.
