Deep, clear red. Pure cherry on the nose, a bit jammy. Spices and herbs. A bit shy on the palate. Candy fruit. High acidity, good amount of tannings. Surprisingly light body, and a bit green style. Should try one more bottle before I make a final judgement.
Italy, Tuscany, Montepulciano, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano
Relatively light red. Some oak, red berries and herbs on the nose. A good amount of oak and red berried on the palate as well. Quite high acidity. Relatively light body. International style. Hold for 3-5 years.
Italy, Tuscany, Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino
Relatively light red. Red berries/cherry, some barnyard, sweet oak/cinnamon. Juicy, with pure, red fruit. Good acidity, nice tannins. The alcohol is well integrated. Better than expected.
Dark and tight color. Sweet oak - cinnamon and vanilla on the nose. Even some red berries as well :-) Fullbodied, nice complexity, high acidity, noticeable wooden tannins in the finish. Great potential if the oak gets better integrated.
Dark red. A bit shy on the nose. Red berries and some minerality. Some oak. Juicy, good acidity and nice lenght. Quite intence and actually a bit green in the finish.
