The Minikahda Club, Mpls

This was a Commanderie de Bordeaux of MN event featuring a comparison of two vinatges of Lafite Rothschild, Leoville Las Cases, and Cos d'Estournel. We had a large group of around 29 in attendance. Food was outstanding this evening from chef Hakan Lundberg and his team at Minikahda. The 2000's were starting to show nicely, while the '18's were youthfully intriguing.
NV Christian Gosset Champagne Grand Cru Brut A02 91 Points
France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru
Light gold color. Drank a glass over 45 minutes. Citrus nose, chalky, light floral notes. The palate is tangy, lemon, taut and strict, chalky, limestone, dry with fine bubbles. Feels a bit youthfully constrained at the moment. 85%PN, 15%C, 2017 base, 3g/dl. 91(+?)pts.
