Not as amped up as the vintage 2000 bouquet, but similar. This is also very good, complex and ready to go. 90

My first taste of Salon. A little yeast and citrus. Clean bouquet. Pretty pale color with no bubbles. Very silky and tantalizing on the palate. 'Electric' comes to mind. Smooth and creamy with a nice balance of acidity. Completely opposite style and make compared to 1999 Dellemonte. I was hoping for more here. 92-93

Very long, deep nose. It goes on and on. Great, creamy complex palate with a long finish. If the sweetness develops here, it will be outstanding. Right now I find the minerality a little overbearing. 90+

Fantastic bouquet, smoky, intriguing. Very creamy with a similar vein of the bouquet. Intense citrus finish with lingering notes of citrus oil and cream. Very light on its feet but packed with fruit. Needs 2 to 3 years. 91-92

Smokey, sweet, flowery bouquet. Nice sweet entry, creamy complex minerals. Flinty, with a zesty, expansive citrus (not lemon or lime) note. 91-92

Tighter bouquet, smoky and sweet flowers similar to NV but with the added bonus of brioche and dough. Zippy, effervescent and young this shows citrus and minerals in the palate. Great finish. Very long. 93

Notes are illegible except for the word, 'thinner' which I believe refers to the body and not paint. Rating is valid.

Flinty, spicy bouquet with a similar palate profile. Finish is long and delicious with zesty lemon and citrus notes that balance out the minerality. Still young, needs more time. 91-92
