Very floral, violet scented nose. Very pretty. Quite dark red fruited. A little lighter and with good lift. Quite long and fragrant. Bare ****

Darker red. Denser, slightly more polished. Tighter, denser; needs more time than the Feusselottes. Think it's all there though. Not as enticing currently. **(**)

Dark ruby, a touch softer than the 06 Feus. A little meatier; follows through on palate too, meatier, quite mellow red fruited, a touch of damp soil. Sweat maybe? A bit of Brett I think. Lightening up in the glass but it's not singing. ***

Ruby to full garnet. Again, quite a bright and expressive nose. Slightly dusty and maybe a little bretty. Medium dark red fruited. Far more intensity and persistence on the palate. A class apart. ****1/2

Not quite right. A touch cloudy. A bit cooked or maderised or both. Quite drying on the finish. Not quite sure what the issue is, but not right.

Seems oxidised too. (curiously, some glasses of this appear to clean up, other stay horribly stinky). Maybe VA or Brett?

Not as poised or as focused as the 02 Ruchottes. Very smooth though. With air this is a bit more acidic and a little more discordant. Decent though. ***

That sweet fruited old burg nose and palate. Quite persistent, decent length. Not as good or as harmonious as a 76 TB Sav Lav recently, but nice enough. (*)**

Very pale garnet. A little more finese and spice on the nose. similar to, but more vibrant and smooth than, the 76. Lovely. (*)***

Bright but quite dark red fruited. A little reduced on the nose and initially on the palate. A touch of smoke. Bright and fun butnot quite he depth and seriousness of some. ***1/2

Bright, lively, very young and slightly confected. Very fruity. Ripe. Needs time. Top ***

Denser and less giving on the nose than the VR. More to it though. A little too polished at the moment but will be a step up on the future. **(**)

Quite a full ruby. Nose a little mute. Very smooth and rounded and with a surprising amount of stuffing. Lovely. ***1/2

Mid to full straw. Slightly medicinal nose. Initially this seems quite ripe but actually it's not particularly sweet. Quite acidic too. Infact this seems out of kilter. Maybe too late in the evening but this doesn't do it for me. **1/2

Pale to mid straw. Slightly soapy, sweaty nose. Nicely rounded and quite interesting on the attack. Seems a little jittery at the moment. Quite light and showing the CO2 through the mid-palate. Needs a while. Not quite sure about this. Quite mineral with a nice line, but really quite light - needs to put on some weight and gain complexity. *(**)
