Mid gold. A rich, slightly toasty, gingery nose. Full and rounded and quite rich on the attack and through the mid palate. Nicely oxidative without being overdone. Rich and positive on the finish with good balancing acidity and some spice. Very moreish. Lovely. ****

Rich, darker body yet beautifully elegant and refreshing. Beautifully blended BDN and BDB! Some brine/oyster shell in the mouth with air. Really excellent.

Deep starw. Nicely rich nose with a touch of ginger spice and crushed oat biscuit. Good creamy mousse, plenty of energy here. Good developemnt across the mid-palate and decent length. very decent if not top flight - consistent with previous bottles of this. Bare ****

Mid to full straw, almost golden. Quite rich on the nose with aromas of toasted biscuit and ginger. Goof stream of fine bubbles, persistent. Rounded, moderately rich and quite filling across the mid-palate. Positivre finish and decent length. Similar to previous note - lovely albeit without the complexity and depth of the finest, but bare ****

Mid straw. Lovely nose, very rounded, quite rich and deep. Similar on palate, ripe, rounded, mellow, nicely toasty depth and decent length. Lacks the intensity of the finest but very good. Bare ****

A mix of Mugneret-Gibourgs (Medlar, Chelsea, London): Sweaty nose, but on the palate fresh and tangy and moreish in the Bereche way. Lovely, substantial, mouthfilling champagne
