The 07 Gibourg is pretty and feminine with red currants, strawberries, iron, herbs, and earth. With air, the fruit becomes more ethereal with a much ligther touch of iron and earth on the palate. The 07 Gibourg is excellent across the range. 92-93

Medium/dark red. Leggy. Some sediment. Heavy expressive nose - rustic, cherry, herbal funk. Balanced palate. Great feel soft and rustic in balance. Great winemakers make great wine regardless of how vintage is rated. Hard to be objective. Drink

Showing more dark soils than previous bottles, moving along the maturity curve. Certainly showing more NSG characteristics than previous experiences, a touch more sturdy and rustic.Tannins mostly softened, smidgen of oaks still lingering at finish. Bright acidity of the vintage with good complexity and long finish. Reached plateau and should continue to cruise along for a while.

Very clean and pure with some animal sensation overlaying on its red fruit sweetness. 92+
