Flight 1 - Champagne (1 Note)

A lovely champagne to start. Balanced overall and good value.

Flight 2 - 2009 Morgon (9 Notes)

I don't drink very much Beaujolais, but this was fairly good. Most of the wines were well balanced and enjoyable with food, though none of them were exceptional and none were wines that I think I would chase or specifically search out. They are excellent value wines, great wines to have on hand for a meal if you don't want to think about the wines too much.

Flight 3 - Dessert (1 Note)

An excellent Alsatian sweet wine that is at a very good maturity.

    France, Alsace

Medium orange color; wonderful nose of orange blossom, honey, white fruits; palate has balanced sweetness, white fruit flavor, fades a bit quickly. Good overall, lovely mature sweet wine that has at this point integrated most of its sugar. Lacks the complexity or density on the palate of the best sweet wines though. 91
