2020 disgorgment, I think. Full bodied, for sure. At a point I found it maybe a touch too sweet, but on balance it's on balance and a sure crowd pleaser with enough complexity in t he nose to keep it interesting to snobs like me. A top value for me.

This bottle was purchased in 2015 and stored under good conditions. Light yellow color with a good mousse; persistent beads of fine bubbles. Very nice nose of yeasty bread dough and subtle fruit. A blend of 60% Pinot Meunier, 20% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay. Quite full and elegant with a creamy texture and really good depth of flavor. Excellent balance and length. Drinking at peak, this is a delicious quite full-bodied Champagne.

Yeasty and heady. Jasmine and lime on the nose, more doughy on the palate. The finish is almost rye-like with its spiciness. Made for a good pairing with Indian saag paneer. I bought this bottle ~14 months ago and it's improved markedly since then. Perhaps it was a more recent disgorgement at the time.

Very nice winter champagne. Not sure of disgorgement date, but based on Kermit Lynch's page, this is based om 09/10 vintages. Rich, slightly oxidative nose, with loads of sweet golden apple, and a touch of caramel. On the palate, excellent acidity, if a touch on the sweet side for my tastes. Tangerine and and lemon curd on the clean finish.

Very fine and delicate yet with piercing citrus fruit. There are notes of blossom, green apple and juniper. It is gently bready and build through the palate finishing with good cut.
Lovely Champagne with notes of apples, pears and a creamy finish. It supposedly has 8g dosage and I can sense that on the palate. It's not sweet by any means, but not completely dry either.

Kermit Lynch tasting at Plum Market (Chicago, IL): A simultaneously crisp yet nutty champagne. This shows its dosage a fair bit (I'm told around 9 g/L) in that there's a slight touch of sweetness next to the pears here. This is cut from a fuller and richer cloth, and the meunier here gives a nice mushroom kick as well.

The nose was restrained at first, but opened beautifully in a large bowled glass, to display ripe apple, tart lemon, mineral oxidative tones and exotic florals. On the palate, it showed intense mousse with citrus peel and minerals, yet gained volume and depth as it's bubbles receded. The finish went on and on with tart citrus. This is an excellent QPR

This is a serious champagne, a good notch above Veuve Cliquot. The nose is rich with strawberry, cream, yeast, and a touch of stones and minerals. The palate is well balanced with tension between the petals and the brightness and a medium finish. Not in the league of the Tattinger but sandwiched in above VQ.

Nose of crisp apple, pear, warm dough. On the palate: pear tart (sort of cooked/brûléed pear), honey and bread. The champagne finishes with a light raspberry character.

Easy drinker. Warm, yeasty nose. Palate is creamy but leaves a crisp finish. Light hints of Granny Smith apples and gooseberries. Pairing with an aged sheep cheese and it's pretty fantastic. Used to be the Imperial Preference but Moet has the Imperial part so they had to get rid of that.
50% of the annual volume, 60% menuier, 20% chard, 20% pinot. The oldest vineyard of the menuier is in this blend. Goes through malo. Mature in tanks for 4 months after blend, then three years in bottle. '09 and '10 vintage in this bottle. 30% 2009, then the rest is 2010.
Fermentation in stainless tanks and then enamel.
Full bodied and rich, very easy drinking, powerful yet lots of fun. Served a bit warm but rather tasty indeed.

France: 38 Wines from Kermit Lynch (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR): After the horrible Savoie Methode Traditionnalle before this, I quite loved this. Christmas Dinner 2013 (Reno, NV): this tics all of the boxes i look for in champagne and is quite serviceable though not particularly inspiring... got better (more elegant... more chardonnay-ish) with air and at best a “very good” pinot meunier-ish (fruity and slightly coarse) kind of champagne... no reason to age this.

Kermit The Importer (Wine Exchange - Orange, CA): The nose shows quite a nice aged profile with bready autolytic character to the aromas of citrus and stone. Some toast and lemon on the nose. Nice mushroomy chalkiness. Dry and quite full with soft moussé. Liquorice, ripe apple and grapefruit as well as slight bitterness in the mid-length finish. Had with a variety of fish starters and perhaps it could have been crispier for that purpose. Nice Champagne and good value anyhow.

This seemed a very, very mature champagne for NV and for the money. A great one! Apparently this particular bottle had spent some good time on the shelves since disgorgement. Lemon gold colour with medium (+) acidity combined with pronounced aromas of honey, toast and oak. The palate revealed even greater concentration of mature flavours - notably almost sweet honey, bread, toast, smoky oak and nuts. Great. Had it solo while watching a movie. Cheers!

This didn't do much for me on the nose, I found it pretty simple. On the palate it started off too juicy and one-dimensional for my taste, but after warming up it showed some more chalky grip. Not bad, and it may improve with some age, but I didn't find this particularly compelling.

With K at home on Miranda's birthday, toasting her very first big day. This bottle was a present from Singer & Foy's Stephen Singer the day Miranda was born, at the '66 Bordeaux tasting. Fine gold color. Medium bead. Fine, brilliant. Nose is great. Chalky, smoky, toasty fruit. Good complexity. Big, full-bodied fruit on the palate. Delicious, creamy, almost vanillin flavors. Very long, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Excellent Champagne. Worthy of the occasion. 5-11-16-8: 90/100.

Super light straw color and bubbles that are having themselves quite the little party. Oh hey, I was invited!!!! Sweet!!

Cheers!
