Flight 2 (1 Note)

  • 2012 Malvira' Roero Arneis 89 Points

    Italy, Piedmont, Alba, Roero

    Light gold.
Fabulous nose, but it's transient, fruity an spicy.
Fruity, a taste resembling oxidisation, but something different, adequate acidity, delicious, plenty of body, good length.

  • 2010 Giuseppe Cortese Barbaresco Rabajà 93 Points

    Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barbaresco

Fruity and flowery nose, very attractive.
Lovely fruit, balancing acidity and plenty of very soft tannin, still tasting very youthful, good length, needs another five years in the cellar.

Flight 7 (1 Note)

  • 2009 Luigi Baudana Barolo Serralunga d'Alba 95 Points

    Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo

    Opaque, very little age.
A fantastic bouquet of spicy blackcurrants, a nose to linger with.
In the mouth there's already plenty to enjoy, loads of rich dark fruit, soft tannins in plenty, very full bodied, caramel and fruit in the mid palate, very long, this wine is still very young and will probably reach its zenith in 10 to 20 years.
