    Appearance: The wine is Clear with a Medium lemon colour. Some green tinges
    Nose: The nose is Clean and Developing, showing Medium intensity primary aromas of honeysuckle, peach, apricot, lemon.
    Palate: The wine is Dry in the mouth with a Medium level of acidity. It has a Medium Level of alcohol (13.00%). It has Medium(+) body and Medium(+) intensity primary flavours of honeysuckle, peach, apricot, lemon. The finish is Medium.
    Overall: Reasonable fruit complexity, nice balance between fruit and acidity, reasonable length finish.
    Conclusion: It is a Good quality wine. Drink Now; not suitable for Ageing or Further Ageing Not intended for extended ageing, best drunk young. ; Premium priced (£22.00)

  • 2015 Domaine Yves Cuilleron Condrieu La Petite Cote 90 Points

    Appearance: The wine is Clear with a Pale lemon colour.
    Nose: The nose is Clean and Developing, showing Medium intensity primary aromas of pear, peach, apricot, green apple, lemon, secondary aromas of wet stones.
    Palate: The wine is Dry in the mouth with a Medium level of acidity. It has a Medium Level of alcohol (13.00%). It has a Medium body and Medium(+) intensity primary flavours of green apple, pear, lemon, peach, apricot. The finish is Medium(+). It has a quite rich full mouthfeel. Bit waxy texture.
    Overall: Complex, good balance between fruit and acidity, good length finish.
    Conclusion: It is a Very Good quality wine. Drink Now; not suitable for Ageing or Further Ageing ; Premium priced (£39.50)

    Appearance: The wine is Clear with a Medium purple colour. Purple / Ruby colour
    Nose: The nose is Clean and Youthful, showing Medium(+) intensity primary aromas of blackberry, black cherry, blueberry, raspberry, red cherry, black/white pepper and secondary aromas of smoke.
    Palate: The wine is Dry in the mouth with a Medium(+) level of acidity. It has Medium Unripe/Green/Stalky tannins and a Medium Level of alcohol (12.00%). It has Medium body and Medium(+) intensity primary flavours of blackberry, black cherry, blueberry, raspberry, red cherry, black/white pepper and secondary flavours of smoke. The finish is Medium(+). Lively acidity and soft but still unripe tannins
    Overall: Good acidity, soft but unripe tannins, longish finish. Decant or wait a couple of years.
    Conclusion: It is a Very Good quality wine. Can Drink Now but has Potential for Ageing Accessible but still young. Drink over the next 2-3 years ; High priced (£13.95)

    Nose: The nose is Clean and Developing, showing Medium intensity primary aromas of raspberry, cranberry, strawberry, blackberry, black cherry, black/white pepper and secondary aromas of smoke.
    Palate: The wine is Dry in the mouth with a Medium(+) level of acidity. It has Medium(+) Ripe/Soft tannins and a High Level of lcohol (14.00%). It has Medium body and Medium intensity primary flavours of cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, black cherry, black/white pepper and secondary flavours of smoke. The finish is Medium(+) It has soft ripe tannins and good acidity.
    Overall: Soft tannins, good acidity, still primary flavours
    Conclusion: It is a Very Good quality wine. Can Drink Now but has Potential for Ageing Still developing - 5+ years; Super-Premium priced (£50.00)

    Nose: The nose is Clean and Developing, showing Medium(+) intensity primary aromas of raspberry, cranberry, blackberry, blueberry, prune, black/white pepper , liquorice, garrigue, spicy and herbal notes, secondary aromas of smoke, earth, tobacco.
    Palate: The wine is Dry in the mouth with a Medium(+) level of acidity. It has Medium(+) Ripe/Soft tannins and a High Level of alcohol (14.50%). It has Full body and Medium(+) intensity primary flavours of raspberry, cranberry, blackberry, blueberry, prune, black/white pepper, liquorice, garrigue, spicy and herbal notes,
    secondary flavours of smoke, earth, tobacco, meaty. The finish is Long It has good acidity and soft tannins.
    Overall: Good acidity, soft tannins, quite complex
    Conclusion: It is a Very Good quality wine. Can Drink Now but has Potential for Ageing Has several years yet.; High priced (£15.99)

Palate: The wine is Dry in the mouth with a Medium(+) level of acidity. It has Medium(+) Firm ripe tannins and a High Level of alcohol (14.50%). It has Medium(+) body and Pronounced intensity primary flavours of red cherry, blackberry, black cherry, redcurrant, cranberry, liquorice, secondary flavours of vanilla, cloves, toast, smoke and tertiary flavours of tobacco, meaty, game.
