Orchard and citrus fruit in various forms and combinations. so powerful and enticing that the blazing acidity is barely a distraction. As great as (too) young Champagne can be.
Very enjoyable and softened, this is also starting to show the maturation of Grande Cuvée 5 years on. Lots of mature apple and baked apple with toasty notes. I like Grande Cuvée in the 2-5 year range post-release, and would be drinking these up.
Lots of berry start-to-finish with apple hints. Incredibly rich and powerful, this seems so welcoming but really has a backward character that yearns for more time in the cellar.
From 3L. What a difference size makes for Champagne! So fresh and vibrant, while clearly more powerful than this same wine from 750 ml tasted earlier in the evening.
