Golden yellow to amber with a mature and welcoming look. Nose with ripe fruit tones and ox. Poor palate with dead fruit, no effervecense and a bad finish. The wine is over the top or oxidised.

Golden dark straw yellow. Nose with butter tones and some spices. Powerful, firm impact with a violent mousse. Acidic with green apples and some spices. The wine appears as lively, fresh and spicy.

Pale straw yellow. Brilliant, clear. Nose with floral notes, spices, yellow fruit and perfume. Lively on the palate with a slight overweight of acid. Granny Smith and sitrus is prominent. The wine is very long and harmonious.

Golden straw yellow. Smells dusty graveltrails, lime and minerals. Hints of tropical fruit, rubber and burned matches. The palate is acidic with some tropical fruits and apple peel. Feels a bit thin and watery. Unpleasant finish.

To begin with, the nose has vegetables and flatulence. This blows off and leaves a clean impression of the smell. Medium viscosity. Ebb, minerals and burnt matches. Unusual flavors like leather and licorice are also present. Grapefruit in the end. Crisp.

Red with purple hue. Metallic nose, cherry pie/ compote and some spices. The palate has earth tones, cherry, hints of swarf, and some blood. The tannins are present but not annoying.

Dark fruit, spice and candy. Modern expression with few and well-integrated tannins. Acidic. Opposite to the opening the wine finishes with sour berries like red currants.

Dark dense red. Nose has agriculture, dense fruit with hints of iron and metal. Tannins dries the palate a tad. As in opposition to the nose the palate has thin fruit. Medium length. Hints of coffeegrounds in the finish. Drinking well now.

Dark red. Spices and blueberry with hints of iron and metal. Soft and delicious feeling in the mouth. Blue berries and calm behavior. Significant and definite structure. Nice length. Decanted in a wide decanter for 3-4 hours. Could have doubled this and some of the obscuring tannins would have lifted and given way to even more fruit.

Floral nose with hints of fat and meat/pork produce. Powerful palate with spices, heat and alcohol. Very long with hints of liquorice towards the end. Delicious wine, that drinks very well at the moment.

Dark red with a blue hue. Nose with spices, spelled and hung meat. The palate has cherries and hints of liquorice before violent tannins enters the oral cavity and dries it up completely. Packs a lot of heat and alcohol. Not being a big fan of violent tannins this ruins the impression of the wine. Lay down for several years.

Dark red - without signs of age. Spices and fresh cherries. Greatly balanced and with an admirable structure. A juicy and fresh wine. Blind I did not recon this as a Hermitage, rather Piemote!

Suspect a weak bottle. Tame and anonymous nose. Watery palate without any special touch. Hint of tropical fruits.

Golden nutty brown towards orange. Strong nose with chemistry and burnt sugar. Hints of raisins, prunes and alcohol. Viscous mouth. Honeytones, apricot and burnt sugar. Powerful and very rich. Cannot see this as very food friendly, but will work as a standalone dessert or as a candy replacement.

Tricky. The last wine in the sequence of 21 this evening and this note probably does not provide the wine the righteousness it deserves. Some cherries and hints of tannins?!? Layers upon layers of taste. Marzipan in the finish. Will improve with years, for sure.

A suboptimal bottle? Sweet typical nose. Viscous palate with overripe fruit where watery pears with brown spots are the most obvious. Short and poor.
