We knew the theme, but all wines were tasted fully blind.
In the bouquet very ripe fruits like banana, apricots and anise. On the palate tropical flavors like mango and ripe pineapple, a nice balance between sweetness and acidity and some pleasant bitterness in the finish.

In the bouquet reductive and some medicine. On the palate round yellow fruits, a bit fat, minerals. On the palate much better than on the nose, but probably wise not to wait much longer.

Intense wine with chocolate, forest impressions, earth, cherries, a lot of acidity and powerful tannin. There are some signs that the wine is not really youthful, but it still needs a lot of air (or ageing) to show what it has in store. 93 – 94+ for tonight.

A “joke” by the host. The same wine in two different glasses. Glass one the traditional flute, glass two bigger and tulip shaped. In both glasses white fruits and citrus. For me personally in the flute the wine showed a little less complex and soft tropical. In the second glass, the citrus was more up front, and the wine more dry and complex. What to think. 88 – 89
