This could almost be mistaken for a Napa wine, yet tasting it blind, on settles in Burgundy. Soft, creamy, with a sweet, playful almost Condrieu like fruit. Good minerality, a vibrant wine in spite of the richesse. Open for business

Nervous and fine, intense, mineral, deeply concentrated, very firm and bright. This is still very young, but the elegance here allows, that you drink it. Grand Vin, will improve further. i think.

Easy to enjoy fun with loads of sweet, candy like fruit; no harm dine here. Wir schaffen das.

What to say - what a wine! Deep, intense, round with some notes of brioche, yet vibrant and precise with loads of minerals. I could have stayed here ... truly unique

Rich, smooth, yet very elegant and en danseuse, hitting the pinot-nerve, that Faiveley rarely has done before. Surprise of the night for me, impressive.

The mineral, dusty, vertical and stone side is certainly here, but the main impressions remains that if a modern, quite polished wine. Fine concentration, very young.

Loving this - would never guessed 2013, though the Rouget style, the rich, carressing, unbridled pinot, shines through. Very long, very creamy - sexy, hitting the nerve.

Cool, clean and well put together; was overpowered by a stronger wine tonight, but as it stands alone, it offers al lot of pure drinking pleasure. Well balanced and elegant.

Cool, calm and collected with an almost cab franc like structure and style, but wait - right there is the pinot, the Burgundy en danseuse. Extremely elegant, femine and pleasing.

Better than I would have expected, but loosing out to 95 La Turque; this is dry, a wee bit lean, certainky mature, pronounced acidity, yet with enough body to carry it. For a weak vintage of La Chapelle, this is not bad.

Ten years after, this is certainly a Sourthern wine; speaks of the land, garrigue here, still tannins, quite manly, spicy with olives but also some sweetness here - round and complete.

Sexy wine with bundles of fruit, a creamy exteroir, and a wonderful mouth feel - piniot noir loves you. Not as strict as the 2010 can be

Cool and elegant, very finely knit and structured - a wee bit polished, very fine indeed.

Much too young, but what a wine this will be; 2009 spealks here, certainly, the richesse is wonderful, but there is no heat, just m,ature, sweet fruit in abundance, yet kept together. Some tannins here, but the main impression remains gentle and rich. 97+

Soft and charming with a creamy fruit; very much the Meo polish here, but also very hard not to likke. Smooth operator

Coming around and very much like an 1985; vertical wine, firm structure, serious - not playful, notes of tobacco, cedartree, black currant livs here. Great wine, lacks only a little generousity.

Magnificent. A very complete wine with all the tell tale notes of tobacco still very much alive. The fruit is soft and mature, vbery rich, and while there is no need to wait for this, there is no hurry either.

Soft, sweet, round, full bodied; enchanting and charming, very much a Pomerol, very much a 1990, fully mature with chocolate galore - looses out, though, to haut-Brion, served vis-a-vis.

This is the real McCoy - and much too young. Black curranmt, cool fruit, hinyts of tobacco, immensly concentrated - this is hors classe, wait for it, please. 96++

Must be the sixth time or more, that I have had this; annoyed not to have any notes. You still sense the wine making here, the money behind, but there is a lot to like in term of structure and a firm, healthy fruit. A wee bit polished - bt on a high level.

Tasted late in the evening, not all senses working as they should, but still, i was surprised to se this so polished and smooth; it is immensely concentrated with black fruit galore, a tight fist in the middle, but is certainly silky and dresses up as well - i remember guessing 2cru Bordeaux when blindtasting 2011 in competition. This is a different animal, yet, none os us guessed Chave.

Amazingly, this has not changed a lot since the last time, I tasted it - yes, maybe a wee bit fuller, broader, but there is stil a core of minerality and a precise acidity, thats keeps this wine young. Great stuff.

2009 Dom Pérignon Champagne 93 Points
France, Champagne
Very open and sexy, soft, rich, creamy with the tell tale sense of boudoir and sinful nights; a bit simple compared to the Pierre Peters, but still a jouyt - and very easy to love, if you are not a sworn enemy to sweet impressions in a champagne.
