  • Precise and detailed fruit profile boasting an array of peach, banana, citrus and tangerine. This is complemented by salty minerality, butter and toast notes, cream, floral notes and herbal seasoning. With time in the glass this also reveals matchstick and sulfur notes. On the palate you’ll find a perfect texture with a buttery softness and fresh acidity. Persistent from attack to finish. Outstanding.

  • Tasted double blind. This wine is fantastic, characterized by its clean, chiseled profile and a heavenly salty spine that never fails to give me goosebumps. While there may be more complex white Burgundies out there, the sheer drinking pleasure this one offers today is incomparable. 97pts

TN: Highly expressive, this wine boasts an impressive aromatic density and intensity, both on the nose and palate. At its heart lies a super intense salty minerality that is truly enchanting, complemented by an abundance of fresh orchard fruit and citrus. The balance is quite perfect, creating a wonderful experience that's both fresh and well-structured.

Decanting: No extensive decanting needed. Ready to go.

  • Bright yellow, fairly dense viscosity.
Fascinating evolution of the nose over 3 hours from bright lemon, to a faint vanilla to almost a sugary caramel.
Nice weight and balance in the palate. Lovely and a joy to drink

  • An exceptional wine, this is a superlative Montrachet, and thankfully bought a few years ago at a reasonable price. It shows such elegance with apple and pear notes and a buttery palate, but with just the right amount of acidity end palate and on the finish to deliver near perfection. Likewise, the finish is faultless with exquisite balance and a length that pushes 60 seconds. This is one of the best white Burgundys I've tasted. This is in its perfect drinking window, but I personally feel confident that it will stay here for a good while. 97+

  • A bit darker yellow than you'd like to see in a white burg this young, this seemed to be on the edge of turning over the hill. For now though, this is still in a good spot and drinking really well, with solid weight, rich fruit, and nice acidity. I wouldn't hold these any longer if you've got them, this bottle was definitely showing at the very end of it's peak life.
