Introduction

Every participant had to bring a wine of the theme. We did not know which wines were brought by the others. All wines were tasted blind, also without knowing when the wine you brought yourself was poured.

Flight 1 (1 Note)

Flight 2 (1 Note)

  • 2006 Château de Parenchère Cuvée Raphaël 87 Points

Red and dark berries in the bouquet and on the palate. Firm and good acidity, herbs and spices, a touch of autumn forest impressions, some graphite and cherries. Slightly sticky tannin. Altogether a juicy, well made, not overly complex wine which still has a future of several years.
