Rather reluctantly gives up aromas of apricot, tomato leaf, and a hint of minerals. Crisp on the palate, more minerals than fruit. Slightly thin textural quality.
Aromas of stewed strawberries, raspberries, game and florality with just a hint of oak. Tart on the palate, minerally/metallic. Would be best with rich food.
Sweet red plums, toast, red currant, hint of dill. Tight, but bright. red fruit with a spicy finish. Very promising, but needs 5-7 years in the cellar.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru
Caramel, dill, cherry, red currant, baking spices, lots of wood notes. Already really lovely and smooth, despite its youth and lack of integration. Needs more time.
